Halogen free solution
Background of halogen-free instruction generation
After the lead-free process, a new wave of green electronics, halogen-free, will once again sweep through the global electronics industry. In the upcoming implementation of the Norwegian PoHS law, eighteen hazardous substances that must be excluded have been clearly regulated. The first group is brominated flame retardants, including hexabromodedecane (HBCDD) and the most commonly used tetrabromopropanediol (TBBPA) in printed circuit boards. In addition to gradually enacting relevant laws internationally, major international companies including ASUS, Dell, HP, Apple, Intel, AMD, etc. have also announced that they will start importing halogen-free materials from 2008.
Halogen materials refer to fluorine (F), chlorine (Cl), bromine (Br), and iodine (I) in the periodic table, mainly used for flame retardant purposes. They are widely used in electronic equipment and its accessories, including machine boxes, printed circuit boards, cable wires, plastic parts, and packaging materials. Electronic components and materials, bonding technology for electronic products, product housing, PP, ABS, PMMA, PC..., plastics, colorants, etc.
The hazards of halogens are also well-known. Organic halogenated compounds can cause cancer in the human body, and their low biodegradation rate can lead to accumulation in ecosystems. Some volatile organic halogens also have a great destructive effect on the ozone layer, thereby causing serious impacts on the environment and human health. Therefore, halogenated compounds are listed as harmful chemicals to humans and the environment, and their use is prohibited or limited.
Response plan
In order to help production enterprises effectively respond to the RoHS1.0 directive, Hongsheng Instrument has developed an X-ray fluorescence spectrometer Hs-510 specifically designed for halogen-free detection and rapid analysis of halogen concentration.
Product Introduction
Hs-510 is a RoHS testing instrument independently developed and designed by Hongsheng Instrument in combination with RoHS testing standards and customer needs, specifically targeting environmental directives such as RoHS, halogen-free, EN71, etc. This product uses imported customized Fast-SDD detectors, greatly improving the detection range and accuracy. It does not require standard samples, is non-destructive, accurate, and quickly detects harmful heavy metal substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, and polybrominated biphenyl ethers, Widely used in electronic product production, toy manufacturing, hardware manufacturing, customs, quality inspection agencies and other fields.
